For all of those that missed out on the London Marathon ballot, Totes had the fabulous idea of holding our own ‘alternative’ marathon during April next year.
As usual there are levels of ‘Marathon Wanker’ that you can aspire to….
The levels are:
Half Marathon Wanker – 13.1 miles (half a marathon)
Full Marathon Wanker – 26.2 miles ( 1 marathon)
Extra Marathon Wanker – 52.4 miles (2 marathons)
Special Marathon Wanker – 78.6 miles (3 marathons)
Complete Marathon Wanker – 104.8 miles (4 marathons)
Ultra Marathon Wanker – 131 miles (5 marathons)
Mental Marathon Wanker – 157.2+ miles (6 marathons +)
To summarise, RUN AT LEAST HALF MARATHON MILES THROUGHOUT APRIL 2019 and you’re in.
All entries who want a medal must be signed up by 3rd April and all proof of mileage must be submitted by 7th May 2019. All data will be collated thereafter. Finishers packs will be dispatched no later than 14th June 2019.
You’re ready to start your challenge, but then remember you need to prove what you’re up to. Don’t panic! It’s easy to record the distances you’re covering and prove your miles.
If you have a Garmin, Fitbit, phone app (like Strava or Nike Running) or any other similar recording device it is easy to record the runs, just email us a photo or screenshot of the overall miles for the month and that is it! Done!
