How to Enter

Do you want a medal? Do you dream of a finishers t-shirt designed especially for you? Run bitch Run are holding a ‘Run for Booze’ Virtual Running Challenge and it’s for EVERYONE!  Whether you’re a c25k novice or a marathon junkie, this challenge has levels for everyone.

You can choose from a medal and/or a finishers t-shirt.

Join in the RbR ‘Run for Booze’ Virtual Running Challenge and submit your distances at the end of July to receive a medal and/ or finishers top to celebrate your achievement.  You can join in our virtual run and work towards any of these ‘booze’ levels:

25 miles – A Bit Bladdered

50 miles – Wonderfully Wankered

75 miles – Mortally Minging

100 miles – Totally Twatted

You DON’T sign up to a level, you just simply sign up and run as much as possible throughout the month of July and you will be sent your finishers pack at the end with your level printed on your finishers top if you have ordered one.  PLEASE NOTE: all medals will be identical (not printed with a particular level) regardless of which level you reach.  It is only the finishers tops that will be printed with the level you have achieved by the end of the challenge.

All entries who want a medal must be signed up by 1st July and all proof of mileage must be submitted by 7th August 2019.  All data will be collated thereafter.  Finishers packs will be dispatched no later than 14th September 2019.

Join in the RbR “Run for Booze” Challenge and submit your distances at the end of July to receive a medal or medal, top or other goodies to celebrate your achievement.  You can join in our virtual run and work towards any of the booze levels.

You DON’T sign up to a level, you just simply sign up and run as much as possible throughout the month of July and then at the end of that month submit your mileage via the ‘mileage submission form’ that you will be emailed a link to towards the end of July.  If you have ordered a finishers top then it will be sent to you with your ‘booze level’ printed on it or you can opt for a ‘run for booze’ design if you don’t want a sweary printed top.

*** INFORMATION ABOUT FINISHERS TOPS ***

*** STRAVA GROUPS ***

Here are the groups and their links:

A Bit Bladdered: https://www.strava.com/clubs/abitbladdered

Wonderfully Wankered: https://www.strava.com/clubs/wonderfullywankered

Mortally Minging: https://www.strava.com/clubs/mortallyminging

Totally Twatted: https://www.strava.com/clubs/totallytwatted

PLEASE NOTE: As with the challenges before, if you join a group and then find yourself doing really well, so much so that you’re ready to move up to the next group, then please remove yourself from the old strava group and join the new level. Anyone who is clearly running too many miles to be in a group will be manually removed by the admins from that strava group. This is to ensure that the strava groups are a true reflection of the mileage that the members are doing towards their target. It’s unfair, for example, for those aiming for 25 miles for the month to be in a group with someone who is top of the leaderboard because they’re running 15+ miles a week. The Strava groups are for those who join, to have a genuine chance of being on the leaderboard for their challenge.

You’re ready to start your challenge, but then remember you need to prove what you’re up to. Don’t panic! It’s easy to record the distances you’re covering and prove your miles.

If you have a Garmin, Fitbit, phone app (like Strava or Nike Running) or any other similar recording device it is easy to record the runs, just email us a photo or screenshot of the overall miles for the month and that is it! Done!
